DENVER CRITES

 Aaron Denver Crites is a Singer Songwriter, originally from rural Illinois. Denver is currently performing as a solo artist, or acting as Emcee and Master of Ceremonies at Weddings and special events throughout the Carolinas. You can find him behind the mic each week hosting Music Trivia/Bingo, as well as open mics in and around Charlotte.

 

Crites was lead vocalist in the "Kickin Country" band Carolina Nation (2014-15) and has recently finished up a two year stint as the front man with Southern Rock/Blues band Sons of Carolina! 

 

After a few years polishing and honing his quirky and eclectic performance style in Nashville TN, he and his wife ventured east, finding themselves in the Carolinas where they have been slowly turning a part time gig into a full time adventure. 

    

Whether Crites is putting a new twist on a Rock and Roll classic from the 60's, 70's and 90's, or sharing an original (with roots in Americana, Rock-a-billy, and Blues), he is sure to offer up vivacious performance that will inspire even the most apathetic listers to sing or tap along to! His unique vocal, and guitar styles set his original songs in a category of their own! 

Denver has had the opportunity to work with the late Grammy award winning producer Milan Bogdan, as he captured his portrayal of Jimmie Rodgers, on the Soundtrack of “The Mockingbird Sings”. Crites has also done voice acting and recorded vocals in studios throughout Nashville, including Nashville Songstudio, Chubby Bunny Studios, Tragic City Productions, and Gene Breeden Studios.
